Bill Mertes is Olenick’s Vice President for the Legal practice. In this role, Bill is responsible for delivery oversight, account management, and project leadership. Bill is the chief architect for Olenick’s legal automation tool and has executed a number of test automation efforts specifically designed for legal applications. Prior to joining Olenick, he spent over 20 years at a large international law firm, implementing systems and maturing the internal IT organization. Most of that experience was in software development activities, architecting, and building solutions, and later managing software teams. In addition, Bill served for 2 years as Conference VP for ILTA’s annual conference and served for over 10 years on the Board of Directors for the LEDES Oversight Committee. Bill graduated from DePaul University with a B.S. in Computer Science with honors.
